The dev team might not be at their best in working with Mika but there is room for improvement.Ī reshuffling In Intelligent System is needed hopefully they have a group of smart hard hats working on the next Fire Emblem. Mika Pikazo is an incredible Japanese illustrator but she has no prior experience in the industry aside from f/go but to count her out at this point may not be an option. The standard set from Fire Emblem Awakening & Fire Emblem Three Houses has not been reached with this game and for a First Party Nintendo’s equivalent to ‘Final Fantasy’ this could undermine the brand. Intelligent Systems and Nintendo EPD group 2 have done a terrible job in story and presentation for Fire Emblem Engage while they done pretty well in gameplay. However given the lukewarm reception of the cast from players and fans around the world the lasting appeal goes away fast. This may have been Mika Pikazo’s high profile first video game project that she is directly involved with and could boost her portfolio in the industry. Not because she’s rising in prominence in Japan and in the Vtuber community but because the FE series is in a need for a renewal after this. I would hope that Nintendo EPD group 2 and Intelligent Systems keeps Mika Pikazo as a permanent character designer for Mainline Fire Emblem going forward. Issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.Note that players who have already downloaded the bonuses from linking with “Fire Emblem Heroes” cannot download the content again. You can receive items when entering the Somniel after downloading the data from the eShop.Collaboration content with the smartphone app “Fire Emblem Heroes” can now be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop. You can receive items when entering the Somniel from Chapter 5 or later. Compatible with Wave 4 of the Expansion Pass. You can see Nintendo’s announcement tweet about the DLC release, as well as the official patch notes for the update, down below. So, it isn’t surprising that Nintendo has also done that with tonight’s DLC release, which puts Fire Emblem Engage to version 2.0.0. That said, another common thing with DLC releases is that the release of some new DLC coincides with an update to the base game. As promised, the 4th and final wave of Fire Emblem Engage’s DLC is now available. When Nintendo announces the release date of some new DLC, the date usually accounts for Japan’s time zone, so it’s pretty common for DLC to release the night before the revealed date. You may recall that, a couple of weeks ago, Nintendo had announced that the final wave of the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass would be releasing on April 5th.
